Evening:
Bringing back a piece we first saw in New York, Sophie wore her apple green A Ross Girl dress. Featuring a round neckline with a slit, plus short elasticated sleeves and waist, this vibrant silk piece originally came with blue belt, but the Countess chose a cerise pink belt instead. It comes unlined and costs approximately £560 at today’s exchange rates (A Ross Girl is American) and is available here.
Today I want to pay testimony to members of my @UKinHyderabad team who worked tirelessly to ensure a successful visit by HRH The Countess of Wessex. Of key players only @aparay11 is missing.
I know @RoyalFamily & @qejubileetrust much appreciated your hard work and commitment. pic.twitter.com/eY4FxdivHk

Sophie chose Penelope Chilvers ‘Tango’ suede Mary-Jane heels in tan/ultraviolet. With a 9cm heel straight heel in a contrasting purple, this was not a pair of shoes we expected to see paired with this dress, and we don’t think it worked.
This is a new pair of shoes but not a new style for Sophie; just last week she wore the same heels but in grey for a day of engagements. They cost £239 and are still available here or in grey here.
Sophie wore her short length Heavenly Necklaces citrine necklace. This piece is a few years old, but the brand now has a similar style piece, with clover-shaped stones; get one here.
For earrings, Sophie wore a citrine stud with a green pear-drop stone attached. The colour difference is much clearer in these photos from Rookie, the sole photographer that followed the Countess to India.

Clearly trying to tie in the pink and purple, the Countess carried her Sophie Habsburg purple ‘pochette’ trapeze-shaped clutch. One panel is a lighter suede, the other is a darker leather.

Additionally, she wore her Tiffany ‘T’ square bangle.

Day 2:
The following day, Sophie went for a blue palette. She chose a cobalt blue shirt with darker front pocket, that features a v-neck and long sleeves, which button up at the cuff. She paired this with blue and turquoise floral wide-leg trousers. No information on these, as of yet.
Sustainability was at the heart of HRH The Countess of Wessex’s visit to Telangana this week as Vice Patron of @qejubileetrust. Sophie returned to her Penelope Chilvers ‘Jackie’ brown wedges.
The Countess of Wessex carried another Sophie Habsburg bag, this time the ‘Ginny’ in blue snakeskin. A close up taken from the tweets above. The asymmetric fold clutch features a zip detail at an opposing angle to the flap; beneath, you can just see, is a suede panel, contrasting to the snakeskin leather.
Sophie most recently used this bag at an eye charity reception back in London.
For accessories, the Countess chose Lucia Odescalchi ‘CHAiNGING Berlin’ earrings, which are gold discs with small stones set on top. She also wore her ‘S’ initial necklace, too.

Day 3:
The Countess of Wessex wore a navy scoop neck t-shirt with blue and white floral trousers, which look like a daisy print. There also appears to be a large bow at each ankle. We have a feeling we might have seen these before, but can’t place them as of yet.
In a more casual footwear move, Sophie chose the Penelope Chilvers ‘Alma’ sandal, costing £149 and available here. With a white foam wedge heel, and navy leather velcro straps at the ankle and toes, this is not her usual style, but very comfortable for the warmer climes of India.
The Countess carried her relatively new clutch, first seen at Easter. This olive green bag, we think, comes from Sophie Habsburg – are you surprised?!
For a different set of visits, Sophie changed into another A Ross Girl blouse, in navy this time, with short elasticated sleeves, a la the ‘Brooke’ dress. Notice the similarity with this dress below, although the model has unhooked the neck clasp. Sophie pulled her sleeves up a touch, which allowed an overhand of fabric to cover the elastic a little.
The Countess wore turquoise and blue wide-leg trousers in a zig-zag pattern; again, sadly, we have no information on these. A nice thought is that they are from a local designer, however.
She opted for her Martina Hamilton shell earrings, received in Ireland.
Another new piece was debuted on this day; it was a double pendant on silver metal. One of the pendants was a simple clear stone, but we are yet to work out the other lower pendant.
UPDATE: The necklace is from Patrick Mavros, the ‘Zozo pair necklace’, featuring two small elephant pendants. The piece is made from sterling silver and costs £145 here. We ID’d the necklace when the Countess visited Bristol Zoo in the summer.
Sophie used a turquoise snowflake scarf to channel an Indian-vibe with her outfit; we saw this at a gurdwara visit last year.
Sophie went for a pair of grey raffia wedges: Penelope Chilvers tie-ankle ‘Valencia’ wedges.
Evening:
For a formal dinner, Sophie opted for a the Erdem ‘Vesper’ skirt, first debuted in March. The midi skirt features a floral pattern in pinks, blues and touches of greens, too. The fabric is actually textured and the skirt has wonderful, full pleats that start from the thigh.
We have seen Sophie wear the same print, but in a dress from the label, last worn at Christmas. Buy one for £990 here.
We suspect the white blouse is also from A Ross Girl, with its similar neckline and puckered shoulders.
Delighted to welcome HRH The Countess of Wessex to Mumbai on second leg of #RoyalVisitIndia. Welcome dinner with three remarkable women who contribute so much to this amazing city (+ my remarkable wife)

For engagements in Sunderland, The Countess of Wessex wore the Erdem 'Vesper' skirt, with a new silk blouse in dusky pink & a new baby blue coat (we're searching for those!). Get Sophie's skirt: https://t.co/EY1kSIzmrM

It also seems likely that she paired this look with a pair of Prada heels in a nude colour – her favourites.
Day 4:
The cream shirt dress that the Countess wore on this day is from Theory. The ‘belted shirt dress’ features a standard button front, with two at the neck, button cuffs, slits to the side of the skirt, and a thin, round snake belt with tan toggles at the end. It costs £398 and is still available here.
Sophie carried a Sophie Habsburg ‘pochette’ bag in a traditional brown snakeskin, which is trapeze-shaped.
You can also see Sophie’s Halcyon Days ‘Maya’ torque bracelet in the close-up. It costs just £95 and is available here and here.
She wore her ‘S’ initial necklace and Tiffany citrine studs.
Copy the Countess here:
Evening:
For an evening reception, Sophie chose a baby pink midi dress, with fringe detailing. We think this is a custom piece from Emilia Wickstead. It looks to be based mostly on the ‘Denver’ dress in peony pink, with a few elements from the ‘Suki’ dress, such as the darts from the waistline up the bodice. Sophie had a darker pink fringe added to the hem for a bit of interest. The Denver costs £921 and is sold out, but the Suki dress is available here for an amazing £93 (RRP £1350).
UPDATE: This is the ‘Crowther’ dress from Gabriela Hearst. It is made from a cotton blend crepe, with a raw hemline to give the fringe effect. It costs £1695 and is available here. Thanks to @HeavenQRF.
You can see a match between the seams on the Crowther dress, from the waistline and across the bust, in the image below.
Sophie paired the dress with an older pair of Yves Saint Laurent wedges, the ‘St Malo’ style. We show them below in black; they feature a raffia wedge heel with white wavy sole, crossed straps over the top of the foot, which then form another toe strap.
Once more, we saw the Countess’ Heavenly Necklaces citrine necklace and her Tiffany square T bangle.
To match the necklace, Sophie wore what look to be her Monica Vinader ‘Siren’ studs in rose quartz and rose gold, with a chain to attach a citrine drop. This chain earring extension is a few years old now, but Sophie doesn’t use it too often anymore. We’re not too sure about the rose quartz and citrine combination, even if it isn’t that noticeable…
She use a multi-coloured scarf as an accent piece for the look, with tones of pink, purple and green.
UPDATE: we think this piece was seen in 2017, when Sophie visited Bangladesh.
Day 5:
On the final day of her visit, Sophie wore another A Ross Girl ‘Brooke’ dress. This one was in navy and white polka dots. It has all the same features of the other pieces from the label that she owns – an elasticated waist and sleeves, round neck with slit and clasp, and a waist tie.
She opted for a new pair of shoes, the Penelope Chilvers ‘High Mary Jane’ wedges in white leather. With a white leather toe and ankle strap, these wedges are a really versatile pair for your summer wardrobe. The height, just 9cm, makes them very practical, too. They cost £149 and are available here.
The Countess opted for her Beauchamps of London ‘Hutchison’ envelope clutch bag, in a navy snakeskin, featuring a gold twist lock to the front, and stud detailing.
She also wore a pair of Heavenly Necklaces ‘Circle of Love’ earrings. Made from sterling silver and cubic zirconia, they cost just £40 and are available here. We also saw the Haylcon Days ‘Maya’ bracelet back, as well as the Patrick Mavros ‘Zozo’ elephant necklace.
For a visit to Ghandi’s home and museum, Sophie wore a relaxed style cerise midi dress. The shirt dress features two front flap breast pockets, loose 3/4 sleeves, a belted waist with full skirt, and the stand-out feature is the shirred pockets, which sit at the low hip. Updates when we have them.
UPDATE: This dress is from Gabriela Hearst. It is the ‘Woodward’ dress, made from wool crepe and cashmere. It costs £1990 and is still available here. Thanks again go to @HeavenQRF.
You can see in the model photo that the sleeves and hemline should sit higher on Sophie, but she is very petite in her frame. The sleeves certainly could have been taken up a touch to get the right proportions.
She paired the dress with her Penelope Chilvers tie-ankle ‘Valenciana’ wedges in ‘putty’; we saw these first last summer. They feature a low 7cm heel, a half-foot toe covering and they are secured with a long, cream ankle strap that comes from the front of the shoe, for a wrap around look. They are available here still, for £95; they also come in black, white and pink.
She carried a pink straw bag from Sophie Habsburg. It is a custom version of the ‘Beanbag’ clutch, featuring exaggerated round bottom corners and a clasp front closure. This is quite an older piece of the Countess’.
Once again, we saw the ‘Maya’ torque bracelet from Halycon Days.
Finally, for the last event of the trip, a reception, Sophie wore a heavily embellished navy tunic with a mid-blue skirt. The relaxed-fit tunic features 3/4 sleeves ending with lace and a hem of beading, a round tie-neck and heavily embellished arms and front. Sequins dot the top, too.
The skirt, meanwhile, has a hi-low hem with pleats coming from the waistline and decorative lines of lighter blue in a geometric style across it.
She wore her Jackie wedges from Penelope Chilvers once again and her Halycon Days ‘Maya’ bracelet.
There was a new pair of costume earrings. A brass flower stud moves into an abstract leaf drop.
