The Countess of Wessex attended the Easter Church Service with her family and other members of the Royal Family on Sunday. Sophie showed us her ever elegant style in one of her favourite Oscar de la Renta dresses.
The Countess wore her Oscar de la Renta Bloom Print Silk midi dress. The dress has a high rounded neckline, long blouson sleeves ending in button cuffs, a fitted waist with matching fabric buckle belt and a flowing a-line tea length skirt. The black silk dress features a delicate pattern of white floral blooms interwoven with green foliage. The sophisticated floral dress retails for £2,111, which you can purchase here.
Sophie has worn this dress on numerous occasions this year, including most recently when she visited and addressed the UN in New York on women’s rights.
Sophie debuted a new hat we presume is from the Countess’ go-to milliner Jane Taylor. The oversize oval shaped percher fascinator is heavily trimmed with netting, metallic flowers and twisted quills. Sophie always looks great in a larger size hat. Below we show a similar Jane Taylor design.
Sophie wore her Prada nude suede pumps. The pointed-toe, 85mm heel stiletto pump are some of Sophie’s favourite to wear. We hope to see more of change in footwear designer this year. These pumps retail for £555, which you can purchase here. Try these pumps to get the look for less, here.
The Countess debuted a new clutch bag today. It was an edgy looking olive leather folded pochette with top zip, quite a fashion-forward piece. We really liked the colour of this pochette but feel it is not suited to the bright green florals of her dress. Perhaps an olive based outfit, or black dress with olive leather pumps in future could be an interesting look.
We did not get a great look at the bag from the photos but would think this bag is a Sophie Habsburg design as she has a similar bag in black. We have found you a nice replicate here.

Sophie accessorised with her Heavenly Necklaces triple diamond drop studs, ending in round lustrous pearls. Sophie has owned these earrings for a number of years, and Kate also owns a pair. These earrings retail for £64 – purchase them here.
The Countess always the epitome of fashion and class looked stunning on Easter morning.
