The Duchess of Cambridge attend St Mary Magdalene Church at Sandringham today with her husband, and other members of the Royal Family and The Queen, who wore tan. Kate brought back some old favourites and added a new headband to her every expanding collection.

The Duchess re-wore her Catherine Walker bespoke teal coat we first saw on the Royal Tour of Norway in February last year. The funnel neck wool coat has an asymmetric style, with two hidden closures at the neck and more moving down the left hand side of the coat. The coat is crafted from numerous panels at the front and the back with a slight a-line flared skirt to a midi length. Try this great replikate coat out to get the look. Purchase here.

We think Catherine may have had her coat altered, considering that she was pregnant the first time that she wore this piece. Whether she has had panel at the front removed or the row of concealed buttons at the front moved in, we are unsure. You can see the hidden closures on the side here, from the first time that Kate wore the coat.

Kate has done this trick before when pregnant, wearing her peach Joseph coat to Cheltenham in 2013. She had the buttons moved in to give the coat a little more room. You can see where the buttons used to sit on the coat in the photo below.

The Duchess wore her LK Bennett ‘Mortimer dress’, retailing for £325. We show pictures below from the first time we saw Kate wearing it late last year when she visited the Evelina Children’s Hospital in December. We caught a glimpse of the fabric from under her coat in some images.

This gorgeous silk green and white polka dot shirt dress is inspired by a 1940’s vintage style. The dress showcases some uber-feminine detailing in the necktie and beautiful pearl buttons down the front of the bodice to the waistline and at the sleeve cuffs. The dress is fitted through the waist and has a pretty floaty flared skirt, slightly peaked shoulders, long sleeves and falls to a demure midi length. The Duchess loves the shirt dress style and it suits her perfectly.

Kate wore a new Jane Taylor headband in a matching teal. The headband appears to be made from a teal wool or felt. The oversize headband has ruched detailing on each side of a middle part and features exploded bows at either side of at the nape of the neck. The headband style has been a prominent feature of Janet Taylor’s Spring/Summer 2018 and Autumn/Winter 2019 Collections, proving very popular with the Duchess, who sported her fourth such piece from the designer today. The same style of headband was worn by Eugenie Niarchos to the wedding of Princess Eugenie last year, though this had an added face veil. This is a bespoke piece and is currently not available on the Jane Taylor site for purchase.

Kate carried Jimmy Choo ‘Celeste’ clutch in navy, originally retailing for £650, though it is now on sale for £325. The trapeze shaped top-clasp velvet clutch has a gold toned hardware hinge frame, crystal inlaid cube clasp and optional chain strap. The Celeste style seems to be a favourite of the Duchess’, with Kate owning the clutch in black, blush and burgundy colour-ways as well. You can purchase the clutch on sale here.

Whilst Kate always wears these pearl drops attached to the diamond hoops, you could style the pearls on different hoops or even with coloured gem stone studs or diamond studs. We would love to see Kate wear them a different way on another occasion.

Kate added her Cornelia James “Imogen” Wool Gloves in Navy, retailing for £75. These merino wool gloves have a twisted bow at the cuff for an extra girly detail. You can purchase these gloves here.
