The Duchess of Cambridge is elegant in a mix of British and Pakistani designers

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge continued their Royal Tour of Pakistan on day two, meeting with the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Kate – still looking very traditionally dressed – seamlessly mixed British Couture with local design talent to create a stunning and elegantly tailored look.

The Duchess choose a bright green dress coat by one her most favoured British Couturiers, Catherine Walker. The bright green coat has a high funnel neck split collar, large rounded buttons down the front centre, and is crafted from body sculpting panels. The fabric of the dress coat has a slight sheen to it which is most notable in the sunlight. As with most of Kate’s Catherine Walker choices, this coat dress borrows elements from several styles. Below we show the Evelyn style in bright green, the Scarlett dress coat in red showing elements of the collar and the Etoile dress coat in peach showing the button style on Kate’s coat.

Kate added a pair of Maheen Khan white straight leg trousers underneath her coat to mix the two styles of British and Pakistani fashion together, creating a very traditional dress style. Try these trousers to get Kate’s look here.

Kate added a scarf from another local designer Bonaza Satrangi. Kate wore the ‘Green Chiffon-Dupatta’ draped over her shoulder. The screen printed scarf has a rich dark green background with an intricate gold geometric pattern over the top. The scarf retails for £8.60 and you can purchase one here.

To break up the bright green of her coat, Catherine added her Emmy London ‘Rebecca Greenery Pumps’, in dark green suede, retailing for £395. We have seen the Duchess wear these 4-inch straight heel, pointed-toe suede pumps on a few previous occasions. We love the deep green suede of these heels. You can purchase the pumps here.

Catherine wore her new Zeen Woman ‘Dazzling Ceramic Drop Earrings’, we first saw worn in London less than two weeks ago. The double diamond shaped drop earrings, feature a stone post with pale and dark green beads inter-dispersed with diamontes. These earrings retail for a mere £6.28, but have unfortunately sold out.

We loved Kate’s super polished look and are very impressed with how the Duchess is pulling off such traditional looking ensembles with aplomb.
