Princess Eugenie in Peter Pilotto for Duke of Edinburgh garden party

Princess Eugenie joined The Earl and Countess of Wessex to present the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Awards at Buckingham Palace. Princess Eugenie unfortunately missed Lady Gabriella’s wedding over the weekend and the Chelsea Flower Show earlier in the week so it was nice to see her out and about in an amazing Peter Pilotto dress.

Princess Eugenie wore Peter Pilotto ‘Gradient Midi Dress’, retailing for £1,900. The a-line swing dress is sleeveless with a high ruched neckline and features a large gold metallic foil leaf print over the dress.  A gradient of pale mint to peach moves from the neckline to the hem. We love these soft pastel colours and this is a great dress to move from spring to summer. You can purchase the dress here and here.

Princess Eugenie added a matching self-tie belt to cinch the dress and take away some of the voluminous flare. This can also be a great trick to help stop the skirt from blowing up in the breeze as the fabric is quite a light weight silk.

Whilst we didn’t mind the sheer lower hem portion of Princess Beatrice’s navy Needle and Thread dress she recently wore, we feel this particular dress needs to be fully lined. It is probably because the lightest colour of the gradient moves down to the hem of the dress, which is unfortunately a nude colour giving the dress more of a sheer appearance than if it was a darker colour.

Princess Eugenie wore her Valentino ‘Rockstud Grained Leather Pump’ in Metallic.  The sky blue heels have a beige collar with signature gold pyramid studded hardware embellishment and are finished in a slick metallic sheen. These 4 inch stiletto heels are unfortunately currently unavailable to purchase. Though you can still view them here.

We first saw these heels worn to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding last year with her Gainsbourg dress. See our post on that outfit here.

Princess Eugenie shared some lovely thoughts and photos on attending the Duke of Endinburgh Awards.

Princess Eugenie later joined her sister Princess Beatrice for the Animal Ball Art Show in the same ensemble adding her M2MALLETIER ‘Amor Fati’ shoulder bag, that she also wore for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding.
