Standing upon a Boomerang shaped stage, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex took turns to make inspirational thank-you speeches at the Closing Ceremony of the Invictus Games in Sydney. Meghan was dressed in a khaki coloured tuxedo dress.

The Duchess of Sussex wore Antonio Berardi Tuxedo dress in a khaki, or olive green, colour-way. The dress features an oversized sharp pointed peak lapel, that lies along the collarbone. The dress is a halter style with open back. A deep-v neckline with a singular button just above the hip holds the wrap dress in place. A straight line pencil skirt falls to just above the knee. The dress is a little risky with a halter neck style exposing the shoulders and back. This is a bespoke piece and is not available for purchase at this time. However, as with other pieces Meghan has worn sometimes they are made available by the designer due to the high popularity of the item.

We have done our best to scour through many different collections from Antonio Berardi to hopefully offer you some insight into the inspiration and construction elements from other garments that feature in the Duchess’. The first dress we show is a double-breasted gilet. This dress is very close in style to Meghan’s, though it has two buttons instead of one and is a little shorter. The three dresses below that are from Spring/Summer Collections (years are on the photos) to show colour, silhouette and length.

Meghan debuted a new handbag from Cuyana: the ‘Mini Chain Saddle Bag’, retails for £175. This is a beige flap saddle bag crafted from full-grain Italian leather. The front flap features a thin gold plated Italian hardware bar along the front edge and an optional gold chain strap. This is the first time we have seen Meghan carry this label.

For shoes, it was a familiar-yet-new pair of heels. Meghan wore Aquazzura ‘Casablanca’ heels, retailing for £505, in nude. The Duchess already owns these in black. These suede pointed toe pumps showcase a wide ankle strap, that is actually made up of multiple strands of suede in horizontal rows all held in place with an oversized square buckle. They have a heel height of 4.5 inches or 115mm. The Aquazzura gold pineapple logo can be seen on the shoe.
