The Countess of Wessex joined women she had previously met earlier in the year at the International Women’s Day reception for the Women Mediators across the Commonwealth Event on Friday. Sophie re-wore an Emilia Wickstead skirt and added a brown cosy knit jumper.
The Countess wore a brown roll neck mohair jumper with ribbed detailing around the neck, cuffs and waist. We aren’t quite sure about the combination of this jumper with the midi a-line skirt, perhaps it would really nice with a pencil skirt or tartan kilt. We are yet to ID this piece, but will update when we know more information; the GVGV turtleneck is a great match – purchase here.
The Countess also wore a brown wool scarf for part of the reception.
Sophie wore her Emilia Wickstead ‘Ritchiet skirt’. This pink, brown and beige snake print skirt is a midi length, with a slight box pleat dropped through the length, to create a feminine a-line silhouette. We have seen Sophie pair this skirt with the matching snake print top and to was nice to see it paired with a different top. Unfortunately this skirt is from an older season and has since sold out. Try this skirt as a very affordable option to get the Countess’ look. Get it here.
It appears that Sophie may be wearing her Prada brown leather ankle boots. These are a pointed toe leather version, whereas the ones we have seen previously were suede, first debuted on Sophie’s trip to Paris last year. They have an ankle zip with suede zip pull, round toe and 4 inch heel. We love these boots!
The Countess accessorised with her teardrop pearl pendant and a pair of pave crystal hoops. We are not sure about the ID of the earrings but we think that the Monica Vinader ‘Fiji‘ hoops are quite a close match. Try this affordable alternative to the Countess’ pearl pendant. Purchase here.
