Today, Princess Eugenie attended the Graduation Ceremony of the European School of Osteopathy at All Saints Church in her role as their patron. She wore her Peter Pilotto print dress.
Eugenie wore her Peter Pilotto ‘Lt Net-Jacquard Dress’ in a multi-coloured abstract print. The dress has a very bold green blue and pink pattern, with asymmetric drop hem skirt and is made from a silk-satin blend. The print of the dress was inspired by technology and the pattern features circuity from computers and other technology devices. Eugenie has worn this dress on a few occasions before, including to Royal Ascot. It is a past season dress, so no longer available.
Peter Pilotto dresses were the must have item on fashion girls lists a few years ago along with Mary Katrantzou most noteable for their bold and loud digital prints. However, the popularity of both labels has dropped off significantly in recent years.
To add a different edge to the dress she wore an pale blue sleeveless long line jacket from Topshop. Eugenie wore the ‘Women’s Blue Premium Sleeveless Duster’, retailing for £68. The jacket is made from a textured fabric and features oversized pointed flap patch pockets, a self tie belt and large slits up each side of the jacket. We love this style of jacket on Eugenie and it is very flattering on her. However, it is not really suited to this dress, we would prefer to see it over a simple white t-shirt and skinny washed out denim jean or for a girly look over a white guipure lace dress. Eugenie wore Gianvito Rossi ‘Vamp 100’ cut out black ankle booties. The 100mm high leather ankle bootie has a very prominent v-shaped slash in a wave down the centre of the foot. Princess Eugenie seems to like to wear either long or short boots with quite girly dresses. This can be great in winter, but in such warm summer conditions, these seem like a strange shoe option. These booties come in a range of colour suedes and leathers including grey, taupe, burgundy and blush. Get Eugenie’s shoes here and an affordable replicate of these heels here and here.
Eugenie also attended another event today at The Big Cat Sanctuary where she meet some school children for Wyvern School. Eugenie wore the same Peter Pilotto dress but was spotted wearing flat Aquazzuara ‘Christy leather ballerinas’, retailing for £415. These ballerina flats have a slight twist with a multi crisscross thin black leather straps finished in gold hardware and gold-toned heels. These flats are a great summer staple that can also move you into Autumn. You can purchase these flats here and reduced here.
She accessorised with her Aya ‘Mosi-oa-tunya’ earrings in emerald, retailing for £745. The 18ct gold horn is inlaid with emeralds and hangs from a gold triangle chain and gold stud post. These are one of Eugenie’s favourite pairs of earrings to wear. You can purchase these earrings here.
We love all pieces of Princess Eugenie’s ensemble today, though perhaps not all worn together. Each piece is great but needs to be incorporated into a different look.
