Princess Beatrice made a style statement for the Day 1 of Royal Ascot with a wide brimmed hat with bright multi-coloured tassels and blue lace Maje dress. Beatrice joined her sister Princess Eugenie and other members of the Royal Family for the carriage procession for the first day of racing and fashion fun.

Princess Beatrice wore the ‘Ralfa’ Maje dress, retailing for £157 on sale. The sky blue dress is made from daisy guipure lace and features a pointed collar, hidden button placket down the centre, and sheer three-quarter sleeves with folded back cuff. The fit and flare skirt with crocheted hem line falls to just below the knee and has a wide self-tie belt. You can purchase this dress here.
Beatrice chose a statement hat from Bundle McClaren ‘Nia’ matador hat, retailing for £350. The light blue straw wide-brimmed hat features a matching band and is essentially quite plain in style and design. The hat is accented with bright raspberry, cobalt and tangerine tassels that are stitched in place with matching coloured swirls over the brim and crown, that dangle neatly in a row over the brim. The hat style is quite similar to the hats from Laura Aspit Livens, that Beatrice often wore, though unfortunately this milliner has stopped making hats. You can purchase Beatrice’s hat here.

Beatrice carried a Valentino ‘Glam Bow’ clutch. The beige leather front flap clutch is rectangular in shape and is adorned with a large looped bow. The bow is not just there for decoration but is also also a practical component that the wearer can slide their hand into to keep a tighter grip on their clutch; a different – and prettier – version of a looped wrist strap. How about this for a very affordable match?
Princess Beatrice wore a pair of Kurt Geiger ‘Kankan’ heels, retailing for £84. The nude patent leather t-bar heels feature a row of studs down the centre strap and around the ankle strap. We often see Princess Beatrice wear Kurt Geiger heels.
Beatrice accessorised with her favourite piece of jewellery, the Cartier ‘Juste un Clou’ bracelet, retailing for £2345. You can purchase this bracelet here.
