Meghan Markle in Makcage & Jimmy Choo for Northern Ireland visit

In a surprise unannounced visit to Northern Ireland today, Meghan Markle looked super chic in a green and white ensemble with burnt-orange velvet heels. A great use of Irish colours in her outfit, without looking too much like a costume.

Meghan wore a Mackage coat, a favourite designer of hers. She wore the ‘Mai’ belted wool coat with waterfall collar in sand colour, retailing for £530, which is a maxi-length coat with an asymmetrical closure that can be held in place with a self-tie belt. The coat also features leather trimmed pockets and is made from hand-stitched double-faced wool.

Cream is a great colour on Meghan and this is a more casual option than the formal Amanda Wakeley cream coat she chose to wear recently to celebrate Commonwealth Day at Westminster Abbey. It is great to see her show both a formal and casual side, this demonstrates she has a sense of occasion with her sartorial choices. The ‘Mai’ is also available in black, grey and gold. You can purchase Meghan’s coat here.

Meghan wore the Victoria Beckham cashmere sweater with tonal logo in cream/ivory, retailing for £674. She wore this jumper in her engagement photos with Prince Harry. This crew neck sweater is made of very soft cashmere and features ribbing detail on the collar, hem and and extended cuffs. Unfortunaltey this sweater is sold out, though you can still view it here. You can get an affordable option for this sweater here.

You can get a great replicate of her skirt here. We show the skirt in grey below. You can now pre-order the Kace skirt in teal here, retailing for £316.

Meghan carried the Charlotte Elizabeth ‘Bloomsbury’ bag in chestnut. A top handle, satchel, flap bag with gold hardware turn-lock closure. The American is quite a fan of a small satchel bag in the turn-lock style. We wonder if she is will carry more clutches post-wedding as other Royal ladies do, or continue to do it her way? Either way we love the small satchels, very chic.

You can pre-order Meghan’s bag in a personalised version £185 and non-personalised £175 version. You can pre-order both of these styles here. We believe Meghan would have a personalised version with her initials engraved in the hardware. Get a nice replicate here and here.

Meghan wore the Jimmy Choo ‘Romy’ 100 velvet pumps, in what is described as being in a ‘burnt-orange’ colour. A beautiful rich velvet pointed-toe court heel with a heel heigh of 100mm. These are a great change to a leather, patent or suede court heel. It is believed amongst the royal bloggers that Meghan’s colour pumps are currently unavailable. The Romy shown below in amler-brown retails for £425 but are currently sold out, but you can still view them here.

She wore two of her Catbird NYC Threadbare 14-carat gold ring retailing for £40 which you can purchase here. She also debuted a new ring on her thumb. This may be a Celtic Infinity Wedding Ring, which would be a nice nod to her Northern Ireland visit today. You can get the look for this infinity ring here. We will update when we have more details.
