For the first garden party of the year, The Duchess of Cambridge opted for icy blue, re-wearing her new topaz earrings from Kiki McDonough.
Kate’s coat dress came from Christopher Kane, and is a satin piece, slim-fitting with a small open-neck and lapels. The matching belt nipped in the waist and pockets sat along the from seam. There are also hidden zips on the cuffs.
We got a peek at a hint of chiffon underneath, which made me think of this Roksanda Ilincic dress seen a few times in the past; the hem style is right but it seems a little high on the cut – what do you think?
She brought back her Lock and Co hat in a teardrop fold style called ‘Sweet delight’, which I was pleased to see. It reminds me of a lily.
This ensemble was first worn to the London 2012 opening ceremony, and then the Order of the Garter Service in 2014.
Today however, it was paired with the Duchess’ cream Etui clutch, with patterned leather, a new embroidered cream suede clutch – looking for the piece now – and her Gianvito Rossi pointed heels in a nude suede.

For jewellery, Kate opted for her new Kiki McDonough blue topaz double drop earrings, first seen on her trip to Luxembourg.
