It was great to see the Countess of Wessex back from her break at half-term, and into the full swing of royal duties. Sophie undertook engagements in Somerset where she took a Victorian style school lesson at Gorando School and visited Bath’s Fashion Museum. Sophie wore a pretty black floral print dress.
The Countess debuted a new dress from Oscar de la Renta. Sophie wore the ‘Bloom Print Silk Midi dress’, retailing for £2,255. The long sleeved dress has a rounded neckline, matching belted waist, cuffed sleeves and falls to mid calf. The dress is from the Pre Spring 2019 Collection and features white floral and leaf patterns. You can purchase Sophie’s dress here.

Sophie wore her Loewe ‘Collarless V-neck coat’ over the dress. The ivory cashmere collarless coat has a deep v plunging neckline, hidden hook and eye closures, exaggerated drop shoulders, diagonal hip pockets and has a nice oversized relaxed feel. We have seen Sophie wear this coat on multiple occasions. The coat originally retailed for £1,275 but you can now get it on sale here and here.
Sophie carried her tan leather snake effect Sophie Habsburg pochette clutch. This is bespoke piece and Sophie owns the bag in a variety of colours. It has a trapeze shape and some of the Countess’ bags do have the snake hardware, which seems to be removable.
The Countess wore her Prada beige suede pointed toe pumps with 85mm heel, one of her go-to pairs of shoes. Get a pair here or try these for an excellent match here.
Sophie wore what appear to be her Lucia Odescalchi ‘CHAiNGING Berlin Earrings’, retailing for £164. The gold plated silver disc earrings have a cluster of black silver in the centre. You can purchase Sophie’s earrings here.
Sophie accessorised with her ‘J’ and ‘L’ initial necklace, for her children, James and Louise.
The Countess also wore her Tiffany ‘T Square’ gold cuff and gold chain bracelet. The bracelet remains unidentified at the moment.
At the Fashion Museum in Bath, the Countess saw one of her older outfits: a Bruce Oldfield skirt suit worn to William and Catherine’s wedding in 2011, plus the Jane Taylor hat to go with it. Sophie chose this outfit to be shown in an exhibition of royal fashion.
