Queen’s birthday party in Poland for Kate

To end the first day of #RoyalVisitPoland, The Duchess of Cambridge opted for a Polish designer and an unusual 3D effect dress.

Gosia Baczyńska was the Duchess’ new label, one of the best known designers from the country. The sleeveless midi-dress featured ‘jagged’ pleats in the skirt, some of which were lined with black piping, leaf detail to the waist, and a v-neck.

Here you can see the leaves better, as well as the 3D nature of the skirt.

Kate teamed this with Gianvito Rossi ‘d’Orsay’ pointed ankle strap shoe, first worn in Paris, and her satin Prada clutch.

For jewellery, Catherine chose the pearl necklace we also first saw in Paris, with the Balenciaga ‘Eugenia’ large pearl clip-on earrings. The Duchess wore her hair up.

I was quite impressed with this look; polished but with an edge. What did you think?
