Today was Princess Charlotte’s first day at school and she was dropped of by her parents, The Duke and Duchess of parents, joining Prince George at Thomas’s Battersea. Kate chose a floral number for the event, which we have only seen a glimpse.
The Duchess wore a Michael Michael Kors dress, that we saw for Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding rehearsal, but only through the car window. This is the ‘Georgette’ midi dress, featuring a v-neck, collarless opening, cuffed long sleeves and a midi skirt that is buttoned to just above the knee; the original does come with a wide navy belt. We love this fun carnation print, in hues of red, white, navy and pink; sadly it is sold out.
She added a croc effect belt. The lighting makes it difficult to determine if it is navy or black, as Catherine has mixed the colours before, but with the shoes being navy, it makes sense this is too.
For her shoes, the Duchess opted for a navy pair of pointed heels. Our own Gabi thinks them to be Prada.
Sporting a noticeably lighter and shorter` ‘do, Kate chose her Asprey oak leaf earrings, made from 18kt gold and set with diamonds. You can enquire about purchasing a pair here.
We thought this was a chic outfit, great for the occasion. What did you think?
On a side note, head of the lower school Helen Haslam wore an LK Bennett ‘Avery’ dress; get one here or here, or try this for a more affordable option.
