Meghan wears her own Smart Set collection as she launches fashion line after maternity leave

Today, The Duchess of Sussex was officially back to work after four months’ maternity leave. The occasion was quite special for Meghan, as she launched a clothing line for her patronage charity, SmartWorks. With the help of some UK-based stores – John Lewis, Marks and Spencer, Jigsaw and fashion designer (and friend of Meghan), Misha Nonoo – the Duchess created a line of clothes and accessories for work. For every item bought, one piece is donated to Smart Works, a charity that dresses and coaches women for job success.

For this occasion, Meghan chose items from Smart Set collection. The outfit consisted of The Smart Set Shirt, which is a white collared button-up shirt, slim fitting with MN embroidered onto the back of the neck, as well as Misha Nonoo buttons. It costs £125 and is available here.

On her feet were Manolo Blahnik “BB” pumps in cognac, featuring a 4-inch heel, a pointed toe. We saw these back in Ireland last year. Such a gorgeous colour.

In the accessories department, Meghan opted for butterfly earrings that belonged to Diana, Princess of Wales; they were recently worn by Meghan in Australia last year. These feature diamonds in the top two wings and head, and dark navy stones are inlaid in the bottom two wings and abdomen.
