Floral Emilia Wickstead for Duchess Kate as she visits Back to Nature garden

Today there was an unannounced engagement for The Duchess of Cambridge, as she visited RHS Wisley, to see the final incarnation of her Back to Nature garden. More on the event on our sister site, here. She debuted a new midi dress from Emilia Wickstead.

Kate opted for a new dress from Emilia Wickstead, the ‘Aurora’. In a pale blue with a pink floral pattern spaced across it, the piece was a great choice for the event. With a shirt-dress feel to it, the piece features long, ciffed sleeves, a wide-set deep pointed collar, two front flap breast pockets, and a wide belt. It is created in a cotton seersucker fabric. The dress is sold out (RRP £1650) but the fabric and print are available in a midi skirt and blouse here and here, or a mini dress here.

The Duchess wore her Monsoon ‘Fleur’ wedges. These raffia heels feature an almond toe and faux suede upper. They were first seen back in 2016, and have since been rereleased by the brand in different colours.

There was a new pair of filigree earrings on show today. They were the ‘Simple filigree short drop earrings’ from Accessorize; they cost just £5 and have now sold out, but these would be an excellent and hugely budget-friendly replikate!
