For their second engagement of the day, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Auwal Mosque in the Bo-Kaap neighbourhood. Meghan chose a beautiful and perfect casual style maxi dress from Staud for the visit.

The Duchess chose Staud ‘Millie’ dress in caper, retailing for £263. The button-down dress is crafted from recycled tissue nylon, with two front pockets, a flowing skirt and matching wide wide belt. This is a beautiful and elegant yet practical dress, perfect for anyone’s overseas summer trip. Changing the belt to black will add more versatility or interest and adding a leopard belt will give a fashion forward edge. We think this style and colour of dress was perfect on the Duchess.

Meghan wore Sam Endleman ‘Sally’ ballet flats. The pointed-toe beige suede flats have a small wooden stacked heels and silver hardware ‘ee’ logo on the rear heel. The flats retail for £87 and you can purchase them here and here.

Out of respect, the Duchess added a white head scarf when she visited the Mosque.

We love this look on Meghan and think she looks very appropriate for the occasion and the weather. We would love to see this outfit again as an evening look, paired with sandals, oversized earrings and a different belt.
