Duchess of Cambridge steps out in & Other Stories florals for garden visit with her children

The Duchess of Cambridge recently took her children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – to have a play and interact with the garden exhibit she helped to design for the Chelsea Flower Show. Kate worked closely with Davies White to design a ‘Back to Nature Garden’ exhibit to encourage children to play outside and aid in improving their mental health. The Duchess chose a dress from one of Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden’s go-to affordable high street labels for the visit.

Kate wore the & Other Stories ‘Floral Ruffled Maxi Dress’, retailing for £79. The classic Kate shirt style dress has a mandarin collar, front centre buttons, long sleeves with button cuff, a self-tie belt at the waist and a long tea-length skirt with an oversized ruffle hem for a girly look. The dress features a yellow, rust, green, blue and white floral pattern throughout. This dress looks beautiful on Kate, but we suggest you try this one on as the yellow floral is quite prominent and does not suit many people. You can purchase this dress here.

The print is also available in a blouse here and a mini dress here.

Kate wore Castaner ‘Carina ‘ Wedges, retailing for £118. The espadrilles wedges are made of toasted brown leather with a natural jute sole, toe and thread with a cotton heel. The wedge is 9cm high and ties at the ankle with suede cords. We used to see Kate in wedges frequently but not so often any more. These were a good choice for walking through the garden and add to the casual look. You can purchase the wedges here. Try these to get the look for less, purchase here.

The Duchess of Cambridge is a strong advocate for the proven benefits the outdoors has on physical and mental health, and the positive impact that nature and the environment can have on childhood development in particular. #RHSChelsea Image via @KensingtonRoyal

The Duchess returned to a very old, yet favourite brand of both her and her sister Pippa, wearing earrings from Accessorize. Kate chose a most affordable pair of earrings that retail for only £8. They are the ‘Polly Petal Drop Earrings’, a rounded stud with a drop of petal shaped spray pink stones. You can purchase them here.

On a side note, we have to say that the photo of Prince Louis running along the boardwalk away from his father, stick in hand, is just too cute!
