The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended an evening reception at Empire Music Hall. William and Catherine both tried their hand at pulling the perfect pint. The Duchess stunned in a sea foam green metallic glitter pleated dress and perfect bouncy curly blow wave.

The Duchess chose a Missoni ‘Operato Lamé A-Line Midi Dress’, retailing for £1,975 The dress has a v-neckline with pleated wrap over bodice and wide banded elasticated waist. The dress has a glitter lamé finishing and is made from a metalised fibre/nylon. The Duchess looked radiant in this gorgeous dress, it suited her silhouette perfectly.

The Missoni has peasant style sheer blouson sleeves with elasticated cuff that Kate has left sheer. The delicate pleated skirt falls in a soft feminine a-line flare to a midi length. A dress with this kind of pleated wrap bodice and pleated skirt will best suit a slim athletic silhouette as the fine knit of the dress can easily lose it shape. This dress will need specialist dry cleaning and may actually not last that many wears if not properly cared for. Purchase Kate’s dress here. Try this to get the look for less here.

Catherine carried a Mulberry ‘Bayswater clutch wallet’ oatmeal in pink suede. The flap style bag has a silver turn lock with logo engraved plaque on the front. A linked chain shoulder strap is also available for a cross-body bag style. This is an older season bag and no longer available. Kate also has the piece in black and burgundy, and we first saw this piece in India.

Catherine also wore her Gianvito Rossi ‘105 pumps’ in Praline, retailing for £505. Whilst Kate looked nice and pulled together we feel this dress leant itself to some really interesting heels and a chance for Kate to really show a new direction in her shoe collection. We have been very excited to see Kate’s shoe wardrobe grow and change over the years and feel she is need of a new refresh at this stage. You can purchase Kate’s heels here.

We think something fun like a shoe from Sophia Webster would have been great with this look, but we can’t blame the Duchess for getting wear out of her shoes!
Kate debuted a new stunning sparkling earring and necklace set from Kiki McDonough, her go to jewellery designer. Kate wore ‘Candy Mini Green Amethyst and Diamond Earrings,’ retailing for £1,750. From a diamond stud hangs a trio of smaller diamonds set atop a large tear drop shaped pale green amethyst. With the lighting they looked almost clear last night. The stones are set in 18kt yellow gold. You can purchase Kate’s earrings here.
This close-up picture shows how the stone is set on a gold frame.
The Duchess’ necklace was the ‘Candy Mini Green Amethyst and Diamond Pendant’, retailing for £1,250. Five small diamonds are inlaid on an 18kt gold loop, with a cluster of diamonds and tear drop shape amethyst pendant hang from. You can purchase this beautiful necklace here.
A very beautiful look from the Duchess we love to see a new piece from her. However, we can’t help but think that this dress looks very similar to her silver metallic Erdem dress and her clutch similar to her Jimmy Choo Celeste clutch in beige. Why go so similar when you already have the pieces in your wardrobe? What do you think?
