For Christmas at Sandringham today, The Duchess of Cambridge was matching with daughter, Princess Charlotte in green. We saw a new look for Kate. See both their outfits below.

The Duchess wore a double breasted coat with fur cuffs and collar. The green tweed piece skimmed her calves. It looks to be based on this Catherine Walker piece, taking the fabric, buttons and collar into this piece, adding cuffs and a longer skirt.
You might remember that Kate wore a green coat from Catherine Walker with black fur cuffs and collar for her visit to Sweden in 2018. This mimics that style.
We got a peak at the dress, which was the Michael Michael Kors peacock print shirt dress. This is now a third wear for the dress.

Her hat is the one seen in 2017 at the St Patrick’s Day, which was probably from Lock & Co. It is remarkably similar to her Lock & Co piece from 2015 on Christmas Day too, but the base is rounded and not a teardrop as the older piece. Some have confused the two. I am no millinery expert, so I am unsure how often base shapes are changed from their original, but embellishments can and are repuropsed for other pieces.
Kate’s shoes were also new, another ‘Josie’ pair from Emmy London, which she already owns in navy. With a 3-inch block heel, and pointed toe they are made of suede. They cost £395 and are available here, or try these for a lighter match.
Catherine carried her Emmy London ‘Natasha’ clutch in green too. Hers is without the metallic piping, but the original with it is still available here for £350.
The earrings were the Kiki McDonough ‘Candy Mini Amethyst and Diamond Earrings’, that were debuted in Northern Ireland earlier this year.
Now to Princess Charlotte; she wore a coat from Amaiakids, the ‘Razorbill’. In a bottle green, the merino wool coat features three sets of double breasted buttons, with two faux flap pockets at the waist, and rolled cuffs and a rounded collar. It costs £140 and is available here.
More on the other details when we have it.
