Sophie wore an Oscar de la Renta black lace dress. The long sleeve dress, features a high neck line and a very gradual a-line skirt to just below the knee. The dress is finely crafted from intricate and feminine black lace. The long sleeves are sheer whilst the dress is lined in black. A beautiful and perfect look on the Countess for this occasion. This is an older season piece and not available to purchase. Try this black lace dress to get the look, purchase here.

Sophie wore a pair of Dior ‘Perspex Heels’ made from black calfhair with an asymmetric front cut toe vamp pump. The perspex heel is an ombre of black to blush to clear. These Dior heels were first seen on the Dior Resort 2014 collection. Sophie has owned these pumps for a while and has worn them on a handful of occasions. They are most recognisable for the signature tapered curved in heel of the pump.

The Countess of Wessex carried a black beaded embellished box clutch. While we are unaware of the designer at present, we believe it may be a Lulu Guinness or Anya Hindmarch creation. Both brands having been carried by the Countess before and would be most in keeping with is type of bag design.

Sophie wore her Tiffany ‘Citrine Cushion Cut Studs’ with extra citrine drops attached. A bit of a different look for the Countess.

Sophie wore her Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps (QARANC) badge, as their Colonel-in-Chief, and a Buckley London sparkle poppy pin.

Sophie also wore a pair of glasses to watch the event. We do not often see Sophie with her glasses on, unless it is a spectating event like this.
