Autumn Phillips opts for blue jumpsuit on final day of Royal Ascot

Today was the final day of Royal Ascot, which has actually be rather quiet this year for royal appearances. We were, however, wowed by Autumn Phillips today is a lovely pale blue jumpsuit, mixing up her traditional race day attire.

Autumn chose a bespoke jumpsuit from Claire Mischevani, an increasingly popular label in her wardrobe. The top half of the jumpsuit is shirt-like, featuring an open collar, peaked shoulders, and three-quarter blouson sleeves. A self-tie belt nips in the waist, and moves into wide-legged trousers. Whilst this is an unusual look for Ascot, we really liked it on Mrs Phillips!

She teamed it with a matching saucer hat from Sally Ann Provan. This is a custom version of the ‘Greta’, and features sinamay checkered saucer perched on the right-hand side of the head, with silk blue roses on the underside of the slightly upturned brim. These are further detailed with feathers, giving a dramatic spiky effect. The entire saucer has a hem of blue.

This hat has previously been seen on Princess Beatrice, to last year’s races in the original colourway.

Autumn carried a nude patent bag, which we are yet to find, but we know that she isn’t afraid to go high street for her accessories! This piece was also seen back in 2016.

Peeping out from those wide-legged trousers, we saw cream pointed heels in leather. That’s all we have on footwear, sadly.

She finished the look with a diamond and pearl stud, which she also wore to her wedding.

What did you think of the look? We enjoyed seeing Autumn mix up her usual dresses and cocktail hats for something more dramatic and unusual!
