The Countess of Wessex attended the Chelsea Flower Show on Monday, and chose a suitably flowery tone of pink.
Sophie’s dress featured bell or fluted sleeves (on almost every garment on sale currently), a fit and flare skirt which fell below the knee, and a t-shirt neckline. The piece came from Valentino at £1949.
She accessorised the look with statement gold square earrings, and a nude snakeskin effect clutch from one of her favourite bag designers, Sophie Habsburg. It is still available, for €430, and comes in a variety of colours; you can see the red stone in the clasp of the bag in the picture.
A brief look at the earrings:
Her necklace was a Hermes piece, the Constance charm, as id’d by Anna of the ‘Countess of Wessex’ blog. It is a mini handbag design, with an ‘H’ lock to the centre.
For shoes, the Countess chose a nude patent heel from Gianvito Rossi; Bari 85, currently sold out.
Finally, she carried a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses for the bright spring afternoon.
