Catherine at King’s College Hospital

Today, The Duchess of Cambridge visited patients and emergency staff at King’s College Hospital, wearing a repeat of her Rebecca Taylor suit.

The suit, being a repeat, diverted attention away from Cathrine’s wardrobe and kept it on the visit.

Made from a navy tweed, the jacket and skirt have frayed hem detailing, plus flowers with sequins to the neckline and a gross-grain placket to the jacket, hiding the buttons. The sleeves sit just above the wrist, with a band of the same gross-grain half-way up the forearm.

A better look at the outfit.

Kate chose little-worn shoes for the occasion: Calogera heels, seen in 2011 before the Cambridges began their North America tour, from Manolo Blahnik. They are made of navy leather, with a pointed toe, cut out detail and studs around the top.

Kate wore her diamond and sapphire drop earrings, reputedly belonging to the late Diana, Princess of Wales, and her hair was loose. She had a slick of slate coloured eyeliner on, to set off the blue.
