The Earl and Countess of Wessex have made a trip to France and visited the Palace of Versailles. Sophie stunned in a new printed Emilia Wickstead ensemble on Monday.

Sophie wore Emilia Wickstead separates; she chose the ‘Dalia’ python-print silk crepe de Chine blouse retailing for £595. The blouse features pleated, flared sleeves at the wrist, a loose-fit in the body, with a single button-fastening keyhole at the back. You can purchase this blouse here.

The Countess teamed it with the label’s ‘Richie’ pleated snake-print silk crepe de chine midi skirt to match. It features a concealed zip to the rear and is in the same pink-brown print as the blouse. It retails for £1217 and is available here.

Sophie chose her Sophie Habsburg Amber clutch in beige for the day. It costs £430 and is still available here. The bag  – one of her favourties – features a hard case shell frame, with a jewelled closure; it is a snakeskin piece.

The Countess accessorised with her Monica Vinader ‘Siren’ earrings, in rose pink quartz – a perfect match for the outfit’s tones – and her Hermes ‘Constance’ bag charm necklace, a particular favourite with recent looks.
