Princess Beatrice attended the Chelsea Flower Show in London yesterday with her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.

Beatrice wore Needle and Thread ‘Lazy Daisy’ dress, retailing for £355. This is a gorgeous, ethereal feminine style dress. A high ruffle neck with sheer embroidered short sleeves with ruffles. A fitted bodice with contrast waist band, a multi tier ruffle skirt with graduating larger size tiers. The dress features pretty embroidered florals in orange, yellow, red, white and blue with green foliage – a very apt choice for the Chelsea Flower show. The dress is made from 100% nylon and features a rear zip closure. Beatrice wore the label’s pale blue version which you can purchase here. The dress also comes in black, great for an evening event, which you can purchase here and here.
Beatrice wore a white blazer over her shoulders. We wish though that she has just worn the dress as a stand alone piece as it is just stunning and so beautifully feminine.
Princess Beatrice opted for flat loafers. She wore TOD’s striped slipper loafer, retailing for £135. A smoking flat style shoe with tongue with horizontal stripes of blue and white, with a blue contrast pipping trim around the top. There is also a black leather sole with slightly raised heel. Beatrice wore the sky and white striped colour way.

The slippers were part of a capsule collection from Summer 2013 and also come in yellow/white stripe and black/white stripe and red/white stripe. A little bit of a strange choice of heel to wear with this dress, we would’ve liked to see a more girly style to in keeping with the softer style of dress, a harder edge shoe does not seem to work with the outfit. Again, we would really like to see Beatrice in a Sophia Webster shoe, heeled or flat. You can purchase these loafers on sale here.
Princess Beatrice carried a Pop and Suki ‘Pop & Suki Personalized Leather Box Bag’ retailing for £205, you can purchase here. A feminine styled black square top handle trunk satchel. When opened the bag looks like a mini briefcase lined in taupe suede with interior zip pocket. Beatrice had white lettering “Be cool or Be nice” on the front. Beatrice also carried this bag later that evening for a dinner reception for Annabel’s x Dior event. Whilst we would’ve liked a softer style of bag, something in pale pink or lilac; we think this bag is a nice little nod to the Launer style of black satchel that the Queen carries on numerous royal engagements (on a side note, the lady behind Beatrice is carrying a Kate Spade Strut Your Stuff Wicker Elephant Bag). Princess Beatrice has previously carried Pop and Suki Camera bag retailing for £145, you can purchase this bag here. She also accessorised with a gold cuff.
We are loving Princess Beatrice’s uber girly style at the moment and think it suits her perfectly. We hope she continues down this path in future. Perhaps she has finally found her fashion niche?
