The Countess of Wessex was spotted heading to church with The Queen yesterday, after the Christmas Day service on Wednesday. We only had a brief look at Sophie, who was sitting in the car with her mother-in-law, while other Royals walked.

Sophie wore her Hicks & Brown ‘Suffolk’ fedora, with pheasant feather details. A lovely country piece, it is still available for £95 here and here.

Her coat was the S Max Mara ‘Custodi’, with a loose silhouette, over-sized lapels and double-breasted buttons. Note the seam detailing on the lapels, sleeves and down the back. Get one here for £815, or try navy here for £825. This is quite a good match for the piece.

We last saw this on her visit to Canada, which you can read more about below.

She had a Sophie Habsburg ‘Lunatic’ pochette bag, which we show below in black and burgundy ‘caviar’ leather, although the Countess’ is of course a beige and brown snakeprint.

The Countess of Wessex wore a leopard print scarf that she has owned for a number of years now, since 2015, but we still haven’t identified it. It appears to be silk. Here is Sophie wearing it in 2017.
Sophie opted for her newer hoop earrings, set with a string of stones. Try these earrings for a decent match.
