Sophie, Countess of Wessex, joined The Queen, Prince Charles, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William and Prince Edward to attend annual Order of the Garter Service at Windsor Castle yesterday. Sophie re-wore a favourite equine-themed Emilia Wickstead Dress.

The Countess wore Emilia Wickstead the runway version of the ‘Francis’ organza horse-print dress, retailing for £1,153. The dress showcases a low cut square neckline, three-quarter length sleeves and a fitted bodice. A beautiful full fit and flare pleated skirt that falls to just below knee length. A black print of stock farm horses and stockman features over the ivory organza fabric. This is quite a bold print choice of dress, even if in monochromatic colours, it’s quite a degraded print. Sophie has had this dress for many years and it dates back to Wickstead’s Autumn/Winter Ready to Wear 2012 Collection, where she featured the horse print over many different silhouettes of dresses and skirts. This dress is no longer available, though we love this get the look. Purchase a nice replicate here.

Sophie wore a Jane Taylor Hat. We believe it is a bespoke version of the ‘Zinnia’ Style. Sophie has previously worn this hat though has updated her look with new and different trim. Sophie’s hat appears to be in a darker cream colour way than the white straw in image below with black and cream feather and floral trim. The large straw wide drop brimmed hat is a stunning statement piece. The hat is described as having a coolie brim. We love when Sophie wears oversize hats, they suit her beautifully.

We love the half-up, half-down loose wavy hairstyle of The Countess for the day’s events. We normally always see the Countess with a coiffed twisted chignon off her face. We like this softer style and is the same hair style her daughter Lady Louise wore last week to Trooping The Colour.

Sophie accessorised with some of her favourite pieces. She carried her Sophie Habsburg ‘Amber Clutch’ in Beige, retailing for £376. The a-frame metal clutch is made from snake skin, features a cabochon clasp and is fully lined. We are hoping to see a few appearances from Sophie at Royal Ascot and whilst the Amber Clutch is a style favoured by Sophie we hope to seem some beautiful high end feminine couture clutches to match her outfits. You can purchase this clutch here. Get a replicate of this bag here.

Sophie wore her G. Collins and Sons ‘Diamond Set Infinity Pendant’ necklace, retailing for £5,600. A striking combination of the three different coloured golds, white gold, yellow gold and rose gold. An white gold open circle work pendant is interwoven with an double infinity loop. Yellow gold creates a horizontal closed infinity loop and the rose gold a vertical open infinity loop with graduated flared tails. The entire pendant is inlaid with 1.13CT of diamonds. The pendant hangs from a rose-gold chain, though Sophie wears her pendant on a different chain. We saw this necklace worn last week. You can purchase this necklace here.

Sophie wore her Amrapali ‘Diamond Ball’ earrings. Amrapali is an Indian couture jewellery label founded by Rajiv Arora and Rajesh Ajmera in Jaipur. Amrapali is said to be a royal courtesan who lived around 500BC in ancient India and she is the label’s inspiration for their creations.
These hook earrings feature large globes with concentric circles of diamonds, quite a striking piece. Sophie has previously worn these on a few occasions. These earrings remind us of The Duchess of Cambridge’s Links of London ‘Stiletto’ earrings, she often wore in her first year of marriage. We found these amazing replicate earrings for you. Purchase these affordable pair here.

Sophie wore a pair of light pink suede Prada court heels. We know that Prada is Sophie’s go-to designer for shoes and she favours the lower heel height of a pointed-toe court heel. Get a very affordable pair of replicate heels here.

Now a quick look at what the other royal women wore on the day, as most of the time, they are ignored!
The Duchess of Cornwall was also at Garter Day. We believe that The Duchess was wearing a bespoke Bruce Oldfield Couture ensemble, a designer she favours for many of her official engagements.
Camilla was dressed in an ivory fit and flare midi length dress with wide box pleats through the skirt. Camilla wore a highly decorative embroidered matching ivory and black jacket over her dress. The jacket is constructed from applique flowers in white with a black floral contrast trim around. Camilla accessorised with a 4-strand pearl choker with diamond clasp and pearl drop earrings, her everyday earrings.

The Duchess of Cornwall wore a Philip Treacy ‘OC 435’ Hat. Camilla wore this hat in the opposite colour way that is displayed on the website. A white hat with a black circle twisted trim, a slight variation on the figure 8 black trim on the model’s hat – a take on the classic fedora with a little bit of a twist. The brim of the hat slopes up at an angle with a matching angled up turned brim. The size of the brim and style of the hat lends to a couture 50 gallon styled hat.
Camilla has quite a penchant for Philip Treacy and often wears very large upswept brim hats by the designer. This hat is part of the Spring/Summer 2018 Collection. The price is upon application. You can purchase this hat here.

Camilla appeared to be wearing Chanel classic toe cap heels in black satin and tan suede. This style of Chanel heel is one of Gabrielle Chanel’s most famous footwear pieces, originally released in 1957 and is synonymous with the Fashion House. The two-toned block heel is the epitome of style, class and sophistication. It was rumoured Chanel was inspired by the black leather toe cap shoes of The Duke of Westminster’s staff aboard his yacht, so quite fitting for The Duchess of Cornwall to be wearing this style.
An almond shaped black satin toe cap moves into a tan suede shoe and block heel with a small gold Chanel double “C” logo at the base of the heel. You will find countless labels creating their own more affordable version of these timeless Chanel heels. Get an affordable get the look here.
