The Duchess wore a new label House of Nonie ‘Sleeveless Trench’, retailing for £624. The wide collared, blush-pink coloured duster coat features double breasted black buttons, with storm flap at the rear, gun flap over the right shoulder and self-tie belt. The trench reaches a sweeping fit and flare tea-length to a couple of inches above the ankle. The coat is made from a stretchy mid-weight blend fabric of cotton/nylon/spandex. The coat was part of the Spring/Summer 2018 collection for the label and also comes in black. House of Nonie is a Canadian ready-to-wear ethical brand launched in Autumn of 2017. It is thought the Duchess purchased this piece last year. You can purchase this trench here.

The medium sized cross-body bag features two internal open compartments and one top gold zip compartment. The bag has an optional leather and gold hardware link chain strap. The bag features two studs on the front flap and gold embossed ‘Mulberry England’ logo. Meghan carried the bag like a clutch today. You can purchase this bag here, here and here.
For shoes today, Meghan wore Dior ‘Dioressence’ pumps. These patent leather blush-pink pointed-toe court heels feature the famous Dior tapered heel. Meghan is believed to be wearing the four-inch heel. The shoes have a distinctive gold hardware star on the bottom of the sole.

The Dioressence pumps come in a range of other patent and matte leather colours as well as textured fabrics and prints.
Meghan accessorised with a new pair of four prong cushion cut quartz earrings. Meghan is said to be wearing the Birks Bee Chic ‘White Quartz Stud Earrings’, retailing for £342, though Birks have them on sale at them moment for £205. These earrings are made from sterling silver and quartz, a lot different to Meghan’s normal diamond and gold earrings. Even though the brand confirmed this in a tweet, we are still a little unsure, as in closeup photos, the earrings appear to be missing the halo detail. Meghan proved today how amazingly effortless a monochromatic outfit can look. Not everyone is able to match all of the hues of each part of their ensemble well and so it can look a bit off – hence why Royals have hats, shoes, bags and gloves dyed to match their dresses or coats. A great look from Meghan today.
On another note it is long held that the Royals like to be discrete not only about their personal lives but the people they work with, who are also expected to keep some of their details private. We know that with Kate’s wedding dress the lacemakers had no idea what they were making and others had to sign confidentially agreements. With Birks, House of Nonie, Catbird NYC so blatantly using The Duchess of Sussex to sell their products through social media, perhaps it is time for Meghan to find other brands and a stylist that are more discrete and will not ‘cash-in’ the second the Duchess is seen in their wares. Some advice from palace aids comes also be handy in these types of situations. What do you think?
