Princess Beatrice joined her sister, Princess Eugenie, Prince Harry, and The Queen for a garden party at Buckingham Palace yesterday. She chose a dress that could have easily passed as Erdem, famous for its fussy florals, but it was actually from The Vampire’s Wife.
Princess Beatrice wore The Vampire’s Wife ‘Veneration Floral Print Silk Charmeuse Midi Dress’, selling for £1,525. It features puff sleeves that move to the elbow and ruffle. The bodice is slim fitting, with a self-tie waist belt that moves into a midi skirt, with two tiered ruffles. It is made from silk and the fabric features red, cream, orange and blue. Purchase it here.
She paired this with a pair of black heels from Jimmy Choo, the ‘Romy 100’ heel. Featuring a pointed toe and 100mm pencil heel, it is a wardrobe staple. They cost £495 and are available here, here and here.
Beatrice’s headband featured three rows of overlapping burgundy leaves. It seems more of the royal women are taking to the headband trend, like The Duchess of Cambridge. This piece is from Laura Cathcart – the ‘Tess’. It costs £395 and is available here, also in navy and olive.

The Princess opted for her Zara straw trunk bag, which features a cuboid body made of woven wicker, and a black perspex top and handle, fastened with a gold twist lock. The piece is made to be worn across the body, and so has a long strap, which Beatrice did not use. This is a fun, summery piece, but we’re not convinced of it with this particular look, especially with the weightiness of the dress’ pattern and the felt of the headband. What do you think?
Try this or this for a nice match to the piece.
Once again, Beatrice wore her Cartier ‘Juste un Clou’ bracelet, a staple on her wrist at the moment!
