Eugenie at Royal Ascot’s Ladies Day

Princess Eugenie was a knockout in red and navy on the third day of Royal Ascot today.

Eugenie wore a dress from Preen, the ‘Elle’ in ‘strawberry red’. Featuring half sleeves, a v-neck with pleat detail, a wide waistband and midi flare skirt, it cost £955. I simply love this piece; red is a great colour on Eugenie.

She teamed it with navy pointed heels (the grass makes it hard to find any distinguishing features); It features a mid-heel and seems to be suede. AS a fan of LK Bennett, they could well be the brand’s ‘Floret’

Her clutch is seemingly Wilbur and Gussie. The star brooch to the front is part of the brand’s build a bag service, whereby you can choose a colour and brooch for your bag; this appears to be the ‘Charlie’ bag, with hidden wrist strap.

It is on the smaller side from my experience with the Kingfisher print bag, but enough for a phone, some cards and/or money, and a lipstick. They retail at £195/205 if you go for the personalised option.

Her hat was a sweeping saucer piece with a navy base and red flowers with small ‘coq’ feather spray detailing. The ‘Caroline’ comes from Bundle MacLaren at £358 (thanks to Royal Hats for finding this).
