Today, The Duchess of Cambridge opted for Armani to open the Global Academy with Princes William and Harry.
The skirt and jacket are made from jersey and come from Armani Collezione, retailing at £544.
The jacket features a round neckline with a slight opening, puffed shoulders, a pleat/dart feature to the sides, a two-way zip, and sleeves that sit just above the wrist. Its hem curves around the hips too. The skirt appears to be a simple high-waisted pencil piece, falling to the knee.
The Duchess carried her new Etui clutch with the weave pattern to it, and wore Rupert Sanderson’s ‘Malory’ heels in cream, distinctive in the way the soles curl up slightly on the toe.
For accessories, it was Kate’s Mappin & Webb ‘Empress’ necklace and earrings. She wore her hair in bouncy curls.
Quite a simple look, but it works thanks to the pleat details, and red is a great colour on Catherine. I’ve noticed she has been choosing more skirt suits, which works as a Royal wardrobe, including a new one fro Rebecca Taylor a few weeks back. What did you think of the look today?
