The Duchess of Cambridge attended the Easter Sunday service at Windsor today, bringing back her cream Catherine Walker coat, teaming it with a new pillbox hat.
Kate’s coat, first worn in Canada last year, has a princess silhouette (flared skirt), slightly darker trim, flap pockets to the waist, and a collar. The closure is on the left-hand side, with no visible buttons or fastenings.
Quite a plain piece, she accessorised it with her LK Bennett Fern heels in trench leather, Rupert Sanderson ‘Malory’ heels in cream leather (Kate has these in navy suede, too), and a new pillbox hat in a satin fabric.
It is a square shaped piece, with a flat bow to the back, currently unidentified. The piece resembles one worn in 2015 to the Battle of the Somme commemorations, and again Catherine wears a hair net to hold her up-do in place.
The cream fold-over clutch was a new piece, from a brand the Duchess has only recently bought from, Etui Bags. The Polish company offer the bag currently in orange, but Kate had hers custom-made in cream. You can see the texture of the bag, which matches the one on their site currently, priced around £55.
Lastly, the Duchess wore a pair of The Queen’s pearl and diamond earrings – here is a close-up from another time they were worn.
