The Duchess of Cambridge announced a new patronage yesterday, and marked the occasion with a visit to see those helped by Family Action. More on the event here. Kate opted for festive colour scheme of green and red, while she dressed down.

We saw Kate’s red ski jacket from Perfect Moment, their ‘Mini Duvet’ quilted down ski jacket. This is a repeat from 2017. With a stand up collar, the piece also has navy elbow patches, a contrast white and black zip, partially covered at the neck, ribbed cuffs to keep the cold out, and stitch detailing across the front and back. There are two large zipped pockets at the waist. The down in the jacket is ethically sourced. The jacket is long sold out but still available, interestingly in the men’s and children’s sections.

She wore a green ribbed jumper underneath, the ‘Long crewneck jumper’ from Really Wild, in emerald green, which costs £195. With a thick ribbed texture, a crew neck and detailed seam at the shoulders, this is quite a basic lambswool piece. We definitely noted the green and red as a festive colour scheme for the Christmas tree farm!
The jumper appears to be sold out, but this is a great and hugely affordable match.
Catherine chose a pair of blue skinny jeans, adding to the casual look.
The Duchess chose her Berghaus ‘Supalite II’ hiking boots in brown leather. Made from leather and Goretex, these boots are fully waterproof, with a cleated sole for stability. They are additionally lighter than your traditional hiking boot. Their RRP is £155, but they are available here for £105, or here for £139.
We also spotted the unidentified hoop earrings again, featuring notched sections of gold on the silver or possibly burnished steel base. These have been seen a few times now, but we have no other information on them…! These are a good option to replikate the look though.
