Fitting her pregnant figure wonderfully, The Duchess of Cambridge glowed at the BAFTAs this evening in a deep green Jenny Packham gown.
Kate’s dress was similar to her other Packham evening dress in inky blue, mimicking the v-neck cross-over style, but taking the line upwards for a suitably maternity empire line, accentuated with a black velvet ribbon. The ribbon extends down the back of the dress, too, and the back is a scoop cut, also showing an exposed zip.

The sleeves were shorter, and the skirt seemed a bit fuller to me, but this may have been due to the need to accommodate a 7-month bump.
A great choice for Catherine, though some criticised her decision to not wear black, which most female attendees of the event did, in support of the ‘Time’s Up’ movement, supporting victims of sexual abuse in the film and TV industry. Others noted her role as a Royal means no political statements, but pointed out her black accessorising might have been a nod to the cause.
On her feet, the Duchess wore her Prada ‘wavy cut out’ heels, seen a few times before. They feature a pointed toe, stiletto heel and triangular cut-out detail to the front.

For accessories, Kate went all out: she wore an emerald jewellery suite. The earrings we have previously seen in New York, but as drop earrings; it seems to me these are multi-purpose detachable earrings.
The necklace was a debut of an item we believed existed, featuring three emerald stones to the elaborate chain, and one on an extension, whose style mimics the full earrings.
She also re-wore the bracelet to match.
Catherine’s bag was a large velvet bow clutch from Mascaro, which she has used previously, most recently at the Festival of Remembrance.
She wore her hair down in loose curls.
