The Duchess of Cambridge last night attended a dinner for Action on Addiction. Kate re-wore one of her stand-out cocktail dresses from Barbara Casasola.

The Duchess wore her Barbara Casasola ‘Off-the-shoulder mesh-panelled stretch-jersey dress’, in a white colour-way. The off the shoulder number displays a sophisticated sexiness whilst still being an elegant style. The dress features interchanging sheer mesh insert panels of horizontal and vertical stripes down the length of the dress. The vertical panels are strategically placed across the top, elbows, waist and hips to define these areas in the dress, creating a feminine figure flattering silhouette.
The dress has long sleeves, a zip down the centre of the dress and the skirt flares out from mid-thigh to just above the ankles. The dress is made in Italy from a combination of viscose/polyester/polyamide. We believe the Duchess would have had her dress fully lined and not sheer. Unfortunately Kate’s dress is sold out, as we first saw it in 2017, though you can purchase an updated version of the dress here.

Kate carried a Wilber and Gussie ‘Charlie Steel Classic Silk Clutch’, retailing for £205. The silver silk envelope style clutch has an inner pocket, silk wrist strap and magnetic closure. Both Kate and her sister, Pippa, are very big fans of Wilbur and Gussie clutches, as are Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. Additionally, Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall owns a few of their bags, as does Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. You can purchase Kate’s clutch here.

The bee clutch is ever so slightly different than the one shown on the standard product photo, with subtle differences to the head, wings, abdomen and legs. With Wilbur and Gussie offering a full bespoke service to build your own clutch, Kate may have had a special bee brooch made just for her, or it might be from a previous bag from the label she’s owned. Below we show four different bees style clasps that are all slightly different.
Catherine wore her Jimmy Choo ‘Romy 100 Dégradé Glittered Suede Pumps’, retailing for £525. These beautiful show-stopping heels from Jimmy Choo feature a silver ombre glitter, moving from a darker 100mm heel to a lighter pointed toe. The perfect pair of evening heels, with that little bit of sparkle. You can purchase these very pretty pumps here, or what about these for just £23?!

The Duchess accessorised with some almost forgotten about earrings. Catherine wore her Kiki McDonough ‘Lola Blue Topaz and Diamond Hoops’ in yellow gold, retailing for £3,400. These stunning statement earrings feature a hoop of blue topaz gems with smaller diamonds sitting between each stone, hanging from a pave diamond hoop set in 18ct yellow gold. You can purchase here.
We have not seen these earrings for a number of years – 2014, in fact! – so we were pleasantly surprised to see them again.
