The Countess of Wessex attended the Commonwealth Eye Health Consortium yesterday, a meeting which brings together 170 eye health experts from 27 Commonwealth countries. Sophie even tried her hand a performing simulated eye surgery. Sophie wore a very familiar dress for the occasion.

The Countess wore her Erdem ‘Analena’ floral print pencil dress. The pretty dress has a high rounded neckline, short cap sleeves, slight drape over the bodice, a cinched waist and a fitted pencil skirt to a midi length. The rear of the dress has an exposed zipper with black contrast trim and is quite a feature of the dress, considering most designers prefer to use concealed zippers.
This dress is past season an no longer available but these dresses here and here make great ways to steal Sophie’s style.

The Countess owns three quite similar navy floral dresses, from Oscar de la Renta, Erdem and Suzannah so it can be easy to mix them up. In fact, Sophie has almost worn this exact outfit in the past, just mixed with different accessories.
Sophie wore her notch collar, single breasted, navy blazer with slight peplum over the dress. She has worn this blazer a few times in the past but still no ID. This blazer is a fantastic option to replicate the look, try it here.

The Countess of Wessex accessorised with her long silver chain and oversized circular shaped pearl pendant. The designer of this necklace has alluded us for quite some time now and we are keen to know who the designer is. If you have any thoughts, let us know!

We suspect Sophie teamed the look with a pair of her Prada nude pointed pumps, with a mid-heel of about 80mm. She owns them in taupe suede and blush leather, both really versatile shoes she wears often. No pictures can confirm this though.
