The Countess of Wessex held a reception at Buckingham Palace on for International Women’s Day. She changed from her red Valentino skirt seen earlier in the day into a camouflage ensemble, that didn’t exactly thrill us….

Sophie chose a blouse from Victoria Beckham, the ‘Camouflage shirt’. It features a classic collar, long sleeves, a loose-fit body, exposed buttons on the placket and a curved hem. It is made from silk, with the camo print in a green and bordeaux colouring. You can see a closer look at the print below.

She matched this with the ‘Camouflage skirt’ also from Victoria Beckham. The midi skirt features a high waist, with pleats that start from a dropped point; the pleats make up three-quarters of the skirt. This is also made of silk.
Due to the fit of the pieces, we suspected it was initially Emilia Wickstead, possibly a dress, and were surprised to find out the true designer. This is not what you usually see from VB.
The Countess teamed this look with her taupe Prada heels as seen earlier in the day. They are no longer available, but a very similar Prada heel can be bought here for £555. They feature a pointed toe and heel of 80mm in a taupe-nude suede.

Sophie kept on her Lucia Odescalchi ‘Losange’ earrings, which feature a central smoky brown, almost orange quartz with a thick metal rim to the outside, and small gem detailing at either end of the oval. We show then in pink rodocrosite below.
The Countess also continued to wear her ‘T Square’ bangle from Tiffany, and her ‘S’ gold initial necklace.
