Duchess of Cambridge looks radiant in D&G boucle skirt suit at Royal Foundation conference

The Duchess of Cambridge was out in London today at Mercer Hall, to attend The Royal Foundation’s ‘Mental Health in Education’ Conference, an area that the Duchess is a fierce advocate for. Kate once again pulled out an amazingly glamorous ensemble, giving us chic boucle tweed and her signature perfect Chelsea blow dry.

The Duchess choose a black, white and light blue boucle tweed skirt suit from Dolce and Gabbana. The frayed edge boucle tweed jacket featured a v-neckline with peak lapel collar, double-breasted jewelled buttons of a black stone with a crystal halo and horizontal flap pockets along each hip. The matching frayed boucle tweed a-line flared mini skirt finishes above the knee and the fabric is cut on the bias which could be a key in identifying the piece. The actual skirt suit and collection it comes from is still a mystery at present.

Dolce and Gabbana have also seen some controversy in recent days over what many claim to be racist editorial images and comments forcing the Italian duo to cancel their China Fashion Show; this has caused some to wonder why The Duchess choose this label considering the sensitive issue.
