On Thursday at Royal Ascot, the so-called Ladies Day could not be missed by Zara Tindall. Princess Anna’s daughter attended Ascot horse racing for the second time this year and again put on outfit in tones of teal.
Her teal blue dress was designed by Claire Mischevani. The dress featured a frill neckline, and two vertical frills going from the arms to the empire waistline, plus long sleeves. The skirt was simple, slightly flared and reached to the knees.

The headpiece chosen by Zara was from Juliette Botterill. The hat matched the dress, of course, and consisted of a small disc that sweeps around, behind the disc and to a frill at the top. In front of this swirl was a rose and a single darker quill. It was a bespoke piece.

The handbag chosen by Zara was by Aspinal, part of their collection with Giles Deacon, the ‘Mini Hatbox’. The round bag, obviously, mimics the shape of a hat box, and features a rounded top handle, glossy satin covering and gold hardware, including a clasp, optional chain strap, threaded with satin, and feet. Internally, se see a zip pocket and spacious compartment. This piece is now sold out, but retailed for £550.
She also wore nude pointed heels, in a zebra print, with a tapered heel. More on these when we have it.
Zara finished off her look with silver hoop earrings, which, we are informed are from Calleja. These are the ‘black and white diamond hoop earrings’, costing £3545. A medium sized hoop in white gold is inlaid with white diamonds to the front and black diamonds on the inside. Quite an unusual pari of earrings, they made a nice change for Zara.
