The Queen is the woman designer Michael Kors would like to dress the most, the designer has revealed.
The founder of the American label has been dressing women since 1981, and he has celebrity fans, too. Kate Hudson, Jennifer Lawrence and Taylor Swift count amongst those who wear his creations, but Her Majesty is missing from the list, it seems.
“She would be my ultimate person to be able to dress,” Michael, 58, told Harper’s Bazaar. “To pull it off with such aplomb, it’s amazing. She has total understanding of her life, her needs, what’s the best part to show off… I love the consistency, I think it’s brilliant. As the end of the day, consistency is what becomes style versus just fashion.”
Michael thinks that his long-success in the fashion industry is due to his creations being for all shapes and sizes. His latest collection, for this autumn and winter, included models of varying sizes: Ashley Graham, Carolyn Murphy, Bella Hadid and Sohyun Jung walked the catwalk wearing Michael Kors.
“My job is to make everyone look great,” he says. “Whether it’s a teenager or an 84-year-old, whether it’s an American size zero or an American size 16… I don’t think it’s like, ‘Oh, if you can’t fit into this box then you’re not part of my club.”

HER MAJESTY IS ALWAYS BEAUTIFULLY DRESSED, occasionally a color will seem a bit harsh. I am 85 so I understand how quickly color can wipe you out. The soft peach, pink and blues are the ones she really steals the show in. God Bless Her.
