Following two years of construction, The Duchess of Cambridge today opened the Nook in Norfolk, after launching a fundraising campaign for them back in 2014. Kate chose repeats for the occasion. More on the visit here.

Kate opted for her Oscar de la Renta skirt suit, the ‘Ultraviolet’. The cropped jacket features a wide-set collar, a pleated peplum hem, six buttons to the front and two welt breast pockets. The back of the jacket is created out of panels, while the cuffs – that are bracelet length – are vented, and therefore feature a slit.

The tulip skirt, is also pleated, fastening with a zip to the rear. Both pieces are made from a blend of wool/polyamide and elastane.
We love this set, and it is the fourth time the Duchess has worn it. We saw it earlier this year, if you recall.
She wore her Gianvito Rossi ‘Piper’ block heels. They have somewhat replaced Catherine’s block heel Tod’s court shoes that she has often worn, and features an 85mm block heel and pointed toe. These are still available here, costing £520.

Kate teamed the look with her Aspinal black croc clutch, which is a piece made in collaboration with Beulah. The croc leather piece features the shield-like lock to the front of the flap, and a blue heart lining to the inside. The bag can be used with a chain, or without. Since this piece is a few years old now, it is sold out. Try this for an excellent high street match.
Finally, we also saw the Duchess Catherine Zoraida gold fern hoop earrings. These 18kt gold plated silver earrings are still available, costing £150 here, or a solid gold version (18kt) for £950 here.
Tweets of Kate arriving into Norfolk by train also show her carrying a black tote bag. Could it be her Smythson ‘Panama East West’ tote? The gold zip and luggage label seem to match.
