For a celebratory mental health reception, The Duchess of Cambridge chose a powder blue lace midi dress, by Alice Temperley.
The ‘Eclipse’ dress featured long sleeves with ruffles to the wrist, accentuated by a black velvet ribbon tie. The shape was A-line, with cotton skirt panels, and sheer lace sleeves and shoulders. The lace neck detail also had ribbon, with the same cotton fabric used as trim down the front placket and waist. Black buttons completed the detail.
The piece retailed at £795, and this style and fabric is also available in white, a shorter length, and as a shirt.
Kate accessorised the dress with her black Gianvito Rossi heels, and her black Mulberry Bayswater clutch.
For jewellery, the Duchess opted for her Kiki McDonough ‘Eden’ double-drop topaz earrings; they are a round stud, with a large rectangular drop, both surrounded by diamonds.
