The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have started the second day of their Northern Ireland visit in perfect royal style. The Duchess showed us her fashion sense in a Mulberry coat.

Catherine chose a pale blue coat from Mulberry’s Autumn 2018 Collection. The ‘Ashleigh’ coat is amazingly and features a mini caplet over the shoulders that forms the pointed down dog-ear collar at the front. The cape is secured in place with a two buttons at each shoulder and is lined in luxurious satin. The wool cashmere piece has large round button down centre, a matching buckle belt to cinch the waist and diagonal welt pockets at the hips. Kate was stunning in this coat, we can’t help but think she needs to be in a snowy meadow somewhere for a fashion campaign shoot.

The coat was also available in a peach colour-way and the label showed a similar style skirt suit. The collection was full of vintage inspired floral prints of blues, oranges, browns and green with dog ear collars, large buttons and full flowing tea length skirts.

The Duchess wore a new blue pencil dress from one of her favourite couture designers Jenny Packham. The dress is bespoke like most of Kate’s dresses by Packham, and at this time is currently unavailable. The dress has a high rounded neckline, long sleeves and has a fitted shape through the bodice and skirt, which falls elegantly to just below the knee. The neck and sleeve cuffs have thin contrasting navy velvet trim and the dress is cinched at the waist with a navy velvet band.
We have dug back into the archives to try and find Jenny Packham dresses with similar design elements to Kate’s. The pale blue embellished dress is from Jenny Packham Fall 2017, you can see the silhouette of this dress is identical to Kate’s minus the silver embroidery. The navy blue dress is from Resort 2016 and has a similar colour as well and velvet waistband seen on Kate’s look. Try this dress to get the look. Purchase here.

Catherine carried her Jimmy Choo ‘Celeste’ clutch retailing for £650. The navy suede trapeze shape clutch has a cube clasp; the Duchess owns this bag in nude and burgundy, both of which feature crystals on the hardware, unlike this piece.
The wide gold hinge clutch is engraved with ‘Jimmy Choo’ on the side and has an optional chain shoulder strap. It was part of the Pre Fall 2017 Collection and is no longer available. Try this to emulate this royal style.
Kate wore her Rupert Sanderson ‘Malory’ pump in blue/navy. The pointed toe pump have a rounded toe vamp, scoop curved sides and the labels signature gold foil heel. The Duchess has owned these heels for a few years now and they are unavailable for purchase.

The Duchess of Cambridge accessorised with Diana’s sapphire and diamond floral studs, that Kate has had modified into drop earrings. The earrings feature a gold stud with a drop of a larger sapphire stone surrounded by diamonds in a flower shape.

Another gorgeous ensemble from The Duchess today but again we can’t help but think this is a very similar look to her pale blue Alexander McQueen coat she debuted in Canberra, and her near identical Jenny Packham blue dress with puffed peaked shoulders and split collar.

We’ll end with a very sweet video of Catherine greeting a baby in the crowds.
