The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hosted a private reception at Kensington Palace yesterday, for those who had been nominated for a conservation award from Tusk. We were expecting to see the couple that evening at the awards together, but Kate had to pull out at the last minute, reportedly because of the children. We did, however, get a glimpse of the reception, and what the Duchess was wearing! More on that here.
Kate wore her Beulah ‘Yahvi’ dress, which had been customised. We saw this dress back in 2018, which was made for her without the fluted cuffs, and with ruched shoulder detailing. The dress has a fitted bodice, a feminine floaty midi skirt, which is detailed on the left-hand side with buttons. An 10-inch section is without buttons, giving a slit to allow for movement. Finally, a wide square buckle belt nips the dress in at the waist.
The piece sells for £550, but is available to be customised; go here or here. The dress can also be purchased in navy and pink. Try this for a nice replikate.
A reminder of the last time we saw this dress.

The Duchess again matched the dress with her Gianvito Rossi 85 heels in dark olive suede. These are definitely not our favourite green heels that Kate owns, because of their colouring – we think her Emmy ‘Rebecca’ heels in forest green would have looked much better. Get a pair here for £520.
We saw a pair of hoop earrings, that we didn’t recognise. They appear to resemble the ones we still haven’t identified from a scout visit earlier this year, but for both events photos have been limited.
