The Duchess of Cambridge attended the Women’s Final at Wimbledon today. Kate sat in the royal box with her sister-in-law, The Duchess of Sussex and her sister, Pippa Matthews. Catherine returned to an old favourite Dolce & Gabbana dress, first worn on tour to Canada in 2016.

The Duchess wore Dolce and Gabbana ‘Georgette-trimmed crepe midi dress’, that originally retailed for £2,150. The bottle green midi dress features a high round neckline, three-quarter length sleeves with a ruched pleated peaked shoulder detail, a fitted bodice through the waist, and a midi-length skirt with slight fluting flare from the knee to the mid-calf. The dress showcases a thin bow detail at the neckline, a series of large round shiny gold buttons down the centre and a rear zip closure.
The dress has a vintage 1940’s vibe to it, a style that is akin to a number of Kate’s other sartorial choices. The originally dress featured a large embroidered pocket watch design over the right side of the chest. The whimsical design is very reminiscent of Alice and Wonderland, and was modified by the Duchess for her piece. This dress has long since sold out and is no longer available for purchase. You can still view the dress here.
