Princess Beatrice joined her mother and sister to support The Duke of York at the Colonel’s review yesterday. The review is the final dress rehearsal before Trooping the Colour (next Saturday) and this year, it was Prince Andrew’s turn to take the salute. Beatrice chose a navy shirt dress for the occasion.

Princess Beatrice wore a Michael Michael Kors shirt dress, the ‘Ikat-Print Tiered Shirtdress’. The midi dress features bell sleeves, a self-tie belt and tiered skirt. The polyester-elastane fabric is sheer navy, printed with a lighter blue ikat pattern; there is a slip beneath. The dress costs £215 and is available here.

Beatrice paired this with a black cocktail hat from Annabel Allen Millinery. This is the ‘Eve’ percher hat; it has a black straw base, and its decoration is two silk crescents coming from the front, swirling round the back, with one adding height to the hat by curling upwards. She wore her Jimmy Choo ‘Romy’ 100 heels, seen in this kneeling-down photo. The 10cm heel is complemented by the pointed heel. They cost £475 and are available here.

Beatrice carried her Zara ‘woven straw cross body bag’, which features a perspex black lid with black wooden top hand, fitted over a wicker-style trunk bag. It has gold hardware, and an optional shoulder strap, plus cute check interior. It costs £39.99 and is available here.
