A few people have requested to know what the royal men wear, so here’s a look at one of the Duke’s outfit, and some options to help the male royal fans out there replicate royalty, too!
A big day for Prince George this week, as he began primary school. Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, took his son to Thomas’ in Battersea for the big occasion. Read all about it over at The Crown Chronicles (click).
He chose a navy textured blazer and light blue shirt combination for the occasion. The blazer features a two-button closing, four buttons to the cuffs (all dark), a flat panel vent, two flap pockets to the front, and a breast pocket, too. The shirt, as far as we can see, is in a nice thicker cotton fabric, and has white buttons.
Being royal, and used to wearing suits most of the time, the likelihood is that both pieces are bespoke from a tailor. However, these are pretty easy pieces to copy, and our selections can be found at the end of the article.
Tan chinos and brown suede desert boots – with a unique orange trim and lighter wooden heel – completed his casual look. Scouring male shoemakers, I cannot see these exact pair, but again, they are very easy to replicate.
William also wore a thick, brown braided belt; this also gives you a better look at the jacket’s fabric.
