Princess Eugenie at Trooping the Colour

Princess Eugenie was in one of her more adventurous outfits yesterday at Trooping the Colour, choosing a floral embroidered dress.

The shirt-like dress is the simply named ‘cotton collared dress with embroidery’ from Adam Lippes. It is ‘inspired by menswear’ and made from 100% cotton, with a symmetrical pattern to the front. The skirt falls below the knee, very much on trend now. Thanks to @polkapopp.

A closer look at the flowers. I was surprised that the material looked so thin, considering the dress RRP’d at $1150. It is currently on sale for $690 though.

Eugenie’s hat came from Jess Collett Millinery, a favourite of the York sisters’. The Sophia hat features a slanting base in ‘sea green’ with silk flower and a golden pheasant feather, costing £680. Quite an interesting piece, and I like the softer green tone.

She completed her look with a metallic belt, seemingly the ‘Gena‘ from LK Bennett.

As with everyone at Trooping the Colour, we can never see the shoes worn, but I’d put Eugenie down for a simple black or nude heel.
