Princess Eugenie joined her sister Princess Beatrice, The Countess of Wessex and Lady Louise Windsor for the carriage procession for the annual Trooping the Colour Parade. Eugenie made a bold statement in a bright green dress and large brimmed hat.

Princess Eugenie wore Osman ‘Eliza’ asymmetric woven dress, retailing for £730. The ‘Eliza’ is quite an interesting choice and actually has a lot of features going on in the one dress. Sometimes too many things can make a dress look a little fussy, but for some reason it really works here: the dress has a rounded cowl neckline with three quarter loose fitting draped sleeves. The sleeves are the absolute stand out feature of this dress, having cut-out panels at the rear of the arm, which almost appear as if the material has been ripped and is flowing in the breeze. The cuffs of the sleeves are cinched together with light gold-toned hardware bars. The dress has a cinched waist line and falls into a flared asymmetric skirt, hanging longer on the right than the left, with a concealed rear zip closure The dress is made from a mix of polyester/viscose/cotton/elastane and lined in acetate/polyester. The ‘Eliza’ dress has just the right amount of fun elements mixed into an event appropriate looking dress. We are big fans of this dress on Eugenie!

Eugenie wore Bee Smith ‘Leaf Brim’ hat retailing for £215. This is a gorgeous sinamay hat with acetate leaf motifs in green, yellow and blue painted around the wide down turned brim of the hat. The hat sits on a cream alice band, though Princess Eugenie’s is black, perhaps to blend in a little better with her hair. We think this hat is very pretty on Princess Eugenie, but it covered over her beautiful face! We want to see the hat sit either a little more titled or a style that frames the face and not covers it. This hat is part of Bee Smith’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection. You can purchase this hat here.

Princess Eugenie wore Aquazzura ‘Matilde’ crisscross suede 105mm pumps in a nude colour-way – you can see a picture of her exiting her carriage here (use a computer, not a mobile device!). The nude suede d’Orsay heels have a sharp pointed toe, a four-inch covered stiletto heel and have a criss-crossing strap ending in gold hard wear. The straps may be crossed and tied at the front, the back or simply wound around the ankle, dependent on the wearers preference. The heels are made from leather and have a leather lining.
Prince Andrew’s daughter has previously worn these heels and they are also the same heels that Meghan wore for her engagement announcement to Prince Harry.
Eugenie carried an Ethan K ‘Crocodile Minaudière’ clutch in green; you can just catch a peek of the bag in the link to the carriage-exit photo in the section above. Eugenie’s clutch is unavailable, though retails around £5,230. This small green crocodile skin box clutch has rounded corners and a very decorative gold clasp. Get a lovely affordable replicate here.
